Vicky received her B.A. in Folklore at the University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Vicky has treated senior and low-income patients in free clinics here and in Peru. 

Of special interest to Vicky are neurological disorders including paresthesias, chronic pain, headaches, and paralysis. She helps local and international clients recover from spinal cord injuries and strokes at Project Walk in Carlsbad. Other areas of particular interest are depression and stress. Her treatments are customized for each individual and may employ Japanese and Chinese acupuncture, ear acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, and Eastern and Functional Nutrition. When applicable, she offers instruction in qi gong, meditation, or administers Reiki.
